Securely fix heavy items to plasterboard with the Charles Bentley Gripit Assorted Plasterboard Fixing Starter Kit. This comprehensive set includes a variety of GRIPIT sizes, drill bits, and screws, making it ideal for new homes or redecorating projects. GRIPIT fixings feature uniquely patented slim gripping wings that deploy behind the plasterboard, creating an exceptionally strong and secure hold. Perfect for DIY enthusiasts and tradespeople alike, these fixings allow you to confidently hang curtain rails, bookshelves, kitchen and bathroom units, radiators, boilers, and wall-mounted TVs. Unlike traditional plasterboard fixings that can fail over time, GRIPIT fixings offer a long-lasting and reliable solution. They are designed for easy positioning and fitting, spreading the load over twice the diameter of the fixing for optimal stress distribution. Suitable for plasterboard thicknesses from 9.5mm to 15mm, installation is straightforward: mark the location, drill the recommended hole size, tap in the GRIPIT, and twist to deploy the wings. These fixings are also reusable by simply unscrewing them. For thicker plasterboard or dot and dab walls, the GRIPIT Undercutting Tool accessory ensures proper wing rotation.
