A high quality accessory for honing your kitchen knives! This double-sided whetstone has two different grit (3000 and 8000) that guarantee complete sharpening results. Wusaki whetstones are also available in grit 240/800, 600/1000, and 1000/3000. Fine grains 3000: great for the initial sharpening of blades with a high rigidity and hardness level. This grit is the green part of the whetstone. For dull blades, a coarser grit should be used before using this grit. Ultra fine grains 8000: perfect for finishing the blade's edge. The grains are so fine that they polish the blade and give it a razor sharp edge. It must be used only with hard blades that haven't lost their sharpness. This grit is the white side of the sharpening stone. Sold with a non-slip base that is perfect for holding the whetstone securely in place whilst you sharpen your knives. It is made of black silicone. This sharpening stone measures 18 x 6 x 3 centimeters. For the proper use of this or any other whetstone, soak it in water about 15 minutes before usage, and during usage, add some drops of water when the surface starts becoming dry.

Refunds
