The DeWalt 6 Piece 3 Flute Spade Bit Set delivers fast, clean holes in wood across a wide range of diameters, making it a versatile addition to any carpenter's or general contractor's toolkit. Part of DeWalt's Extreme series, these Tri-Flute spade bits feature a 1/4" hex shank and are fully impact rated, meaning they can be used in both impact drivers and standard drills with a jawed chuck. This dual compatibility makes them a practical choice for tradespeople working with cordless or corded machines on site. The tri-flute tapered body is designed to evacuate wood chips efficiently and reduce binding during drilling, while three cutting spurs help produce cleaner entry points and extend the working life of each bit. A full screw tip allows the bit to self-feed, reducing the effort required when boring through timber. Holes up to 100mm deep can be achieved with each bit in the set. The six bits cover sizes from 13mm through to 32mm, catering to common trade applications such as cable routing, pipe fitting, and structural timber work. All bits are supplied in a durable plastic carry case for organised storage and transport.
