Carl Hansen & Søn reintroduced the CH23 chair in 2017, once again incorporating the early masterpieces of Hans J. Wegner. As always, the design remains faithful to Wegner's original hand-drawn sketches, with all aesthetic and structural components intact. The CH23 chair is much more than just a piece of furniture: it's a functional work of art that embodies the heritage of Danish design. Although the CH23 chair may appear simple at first glance, it incorporates lots of sophisticated details, including elegant cruciform back covers, a double-woven seat and arched rear legs that ensure optimal stability. The seat is covered with hand-woven paper cord. Robust and durable, the paper cord perfectly imitates plant fibre, with its warm, natural aspect. Refunds
