This five-book paperback collection follows plucky ice princess Stella Starflake Pearl as she battles witches, gargoyles, giant squid and pirates across a richly imagined frozen world. Packed with humour, heart and non-stop peril, it's an irresistible bundle for confident readers who love bold heroines and page-turning quests. About the Books The series opens with The Polar Bear Explorers' Club, introducing Stella as she defies expectations to join a legendary exploration society, facing icy cliffs and mounting danger with wit and grit. In Explorers on Witch Mountain, the stakes rise when Stella's father, Felix, is kidnapped by a fearsome witch, sending the pair into enchanted, treacherous terrain. Explorers on Black Ice Bridge sees Stella and Felix exiled from the Club, forced to prove themselves against gargoyles, sea-gremlins and mermaids to save the day. The Ocean Squid Explorers' Club plunges the team into submarine peril, descending deeper into dangerous waters than any explorer should, testing friendship and courage under pressure. The final instalment here, Explorers at Pirate Island, drags the crew through the treacherous Poison Tentacle Sea into pirate territory, where half-mermaid Ursula Jellyfin faces the adventure of her life. Across all five books, Bell balances laugh-out-loud humour with genuine emotional stakes, building a fully realised fantasy world that rewards readers who follow the series from book to book — ideal for children moving confidently into longer chapter books. Five complete adventures in one collectible paperback set — brilliant value for series fans. Strong, resourceful female lead who models bravery, resilience and problem-solving.
